  He was recommended for the Council on Jan. 30, 1700. (F-161) I've estimated his age from his marriage record. He is listed as a friend of Richard Haynes and was called Major Christopher Estwicke in Haynes' will dated 1696 in St. John's, Barbados. He died young and wrote his will on Aug. 13, 1705 in St. John's Parish, Barbados. His will lists 2 daughters and one son underage and names his sister, Elizabeth, wife of Samuel Forte, Sr. His own title at that point was listed as Esquire of Barbados. "Estwick, Christo: Esq of Bdos, being very sick and weak. St. Johns Parish, 13 Aug 1705, RB4/18, p. 26 My daus Eliza. EStwick, and Francis Estwick both at 21, to have maintenance adn education, sis Eiza. wf of Samuel Forte Sr; God dau Elizabeth Foret the dau of Samuel Forte Jr.; my God son John Downes the son of Lt. Col. Richard downes; wf Frances Estwick, Richard Downes Esq, bro in law Francis Bond, and Saml.
