    • Marmaduke was supposedly killed by Indians the same day as others in his family. He left no issue. Both these facts are so far, only found in a manuscript by a Mr. Mendenhall. (C-1430) I have seen no other supporting evidence for Mr. Mendenhall's statement on Marmaduke's death.
