  • Notes
    • His title was Lord of Hutton, Conyers and Studley. It was his marriage to Dionesia that brought him the manor of Studley Royal. Before that the Mallory family were the owners of Hutton Conyers only. In United Ancestries according to J.K. Hinman and in Vandiver's book on the Mallories, Sir William is the son of William and Joan Plumpton Mallory, instead of their grandson as presented in P. Barker's homepage on Mallories. In other words, there could be an additional generation between William & Joan Plumpton Mallory and this William Mallory - that of Christopher Mallory and his wife Elizabeth. I have chosen not to include Christopher because the dates I have for both William's fits much better if they are related as father and son. (F-511, 628, 651)
