He is likely born before 1682 when his family immigrated to PA, or after 1687 when the last of 4 children are listed being born in the Chester MM, PA Quaker records. In his will dated 1730 or 1731, he bequeathed 440 acres in Chester Co., PA to his sons Aaron & Griffith Minshall, plus additional land to his son Isaac. Son Isaac sold 16 acres of the land he received from his father in 1752 to John Galbreath of Springfield, Pennsylvania (C-1304d, 2139)
