She was highly likely an extremely young bride. She was baptised on Aug. 6, 1669 and biologically she was highly likely not an infant at the time to be able to have her first son in 1681.

My Uncle on my father's side has 2 small triangulations with descendants of Abigail Maverick that I've found so far. They are so small at this distance in time that it currently cannot be used as DNA proof of descent. Possibly in the future, they will refine this.

Notes:

According to "Mayflower Births and Deaths", Samuel remarried the same day his wife Mary (Hilliard) died. This obviously seems suspicious, but he did have a 10-day old infant at that time that would have needed to be tended to as well as his other children.

His tombstone is partially buried covering up his age and his 2nd wife's age. It or some unfound source says he was 89 at the time of his death and his wife was 83. Both of these ages would be quite elderly for the times. I am unable to verify his birth year or parentage or place of birth in Freereg.uk.org with the parentage given for him.

She died Nov. 28th, 1638, ten days after her son Samuel was born probably from complications with childbirth.

Her parentage and surname have not been proven through first hand records as is true with much of this line from Mary's husband Samuel Ward back in time. So far I've only found her possible father's birthdate and none of the Wards at Freereg.org.

That is highly unusual and puts this lineage as theory only, particularly when this is a family with money.

Moses married Remember ALLERTON on 6 May 1635 in New England, USA. Remember (daughter of Isaac ALLERTON and Mary 'Mayflower Passenger' NORRIS) was born about 1614 in Leyden, Holland; died about 1652 in Marblehead, Essex, Massachusetts, United States. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

Remember was age 5 when she came over on the Mayflower. Her mother died in Plymouth during the first winter. The family had lost a baby brother born dead at sea on the voyage over. Remember was likely age six at the first Thanksgiving. She had 2 stepmother's growing up. We can only imagine the life she had.

I have found 8 small cM sized triangulations with good Q factors with descendants of Remember so far supporting this Mayflower passenger is our ancestor at Gedmatch. Most of these triangulations include my Uncle and another descendant of Joseph Coppock and Jane Wilson supporting that their lineage descends from this Mayflower ancestor.

Several of them are clustered together on the same chromosomes again supporting the likely hood that they are accurate slices of DNA inherited between all of us from Remember Allerton.
