"William Harvey Blagg was a Civil War Veteran. He enlisted on July 29, 1862 at the age of 38. He was a farmer. He deserted October 22, 1862 but returned May 20 1863 and made up time. He was discharged at Camp Dennison on June 29 1865. (source civil war pension records.) He is buried in the Salem Baptist Cemetery in Perry Township, Ohio.Pension certificate #478436, Pvt.
