1. | Jane Margaret BEALL, * was born on 26 Mar 1655 in Charles Co., Maryland (daughter of Colonel Ninian BEALL, BURGESS, "COMMANDER CHIEF OF THE PROVENTIAL FORCE"); died in 1696 in Charles County/Patuxent County/Calvert County, Maryland, America -First colonized as part of Charles County abt 1650, it was renamed to Patuxent County in 1654. In 1658, it was renamed to Calvert County.. Notes: She is often listed as Margaret Jane Beall or Margery Jane Beall with one of two different mothers. Her birthdate would have to be for Ninian Beall's first wife. Ninian Beall's first wife is listed as having children by him when he was an indentured servant from 1652-1657 in Calvert Co., MD so that is a big inaccuracy. There is a huge gap in time between his first wife's children and his 2nd wife's children. It simply didn't make sense to me that Jane could be a Beall. He also had another daughter named Jane. 2. | Colonel Ninian BEALL, BURGESS, "COMMANDER CHIEF OF THE PROVENTIAL FORCE" was born on 16 Sep 1625 in St Andrew's Parish, Largo, Dumbarton, Fifeshire, Scotland (son of Reverend James B. BEALL, PHD IN DIVINITY AT UNIV OF GLASGOW and Anne Marie CALVERT); died on 15 Jan 1717 in Upper Marlboro, Prince George's County, Maryland, United States of America; was buried in Upper Marlboro, Prince George's County, Maryland, United States of America. Notes: Ninian first shows up in 1650 records where he was captured during the battle of "Dunbar" in Scotland. He was taken with about 150 Scotsman to Barbados and arrived in Calvert County, MD by 1652. He was an indentured servant to a Richard Hall for 5 years. He could not have been having children back in Fife, Scotland during this time as is often attributed to him. If he had daughter Jane Margaret in 1655, she would have had to have been born in Calvert Co., MD to an unknown mother.
