• Notes

  He came to Bedford Co, Virginia between 1735 and 1747 and was an elder in the Presbyterian Church. We know that he bought land in Roanoke, Va in 1749, moved to Lunenburg, VA and lived there from 1749-1755 and then died back in Bedford C. Tax lists and "Early Immigrants to Virginia in the 1500 and 1600's." give us this data.
