• Notes

  George arrived in Massachusetts (possibly Roxbury) in 1639 on the ship "Lion". He shortly thereafter, moved to Woburn, Massachusetts. He was in King Phillips war with his house being one of the "safe" houses that was a place of refuge for nearby families. His son Timothy was one of the first to die in this war. He helped found Billerica, Middlesex, Massachusetts in 1653 where he lived out his days. I have multiple triangulations with his descendants of considerable size ranging from 4-7 cM's for that time period on chromosomes 5 and 22.
