  Wikitree sighted the following source for this Thomas: Lynes, Martha A. "The Ancestry of William Chittenden of Guilford, Connecticut. New England Historical and Genealogical Register 160:199 (2006). He is probably not the Thomas who died on Mar. 4, 1591 because that one was listed as Thomas, the Elder, poor, in his burial record on freereg.org.uk who lived on the benevolence of his Parish. This is because this Thomas left the following will transcribed on Wikitree. Will dated 8 Feb 1590 [/1?] proved 6 April 1591. Weaver. Wife Margaret, executrix. Eldest son Thomas and sons William, Edmund, and Robert. No daughters named. William inherited mansion house at Hawkhurst.
