  Edward Kent's obituary tells of his many years of wonderful service as the Porter Band's leader for Rio Grande College. To quote the paper, he spent almost fifty-five years "continuosly spreading joy, scattering sunshine and filling thd with music." I'd say he was a well loved teacher and human being.
