Since he was only 3 months old in the first, I would imagine that the first record is more accurate. He is likely to be the Benjamin Charles Dimmock, b. 1851 who marries Susannah Mills on Jan. 2, 1873 in Bilston, Staffordshire, England. His father is listed as Benjamin.
