Notes - His birth date is also recorded in Bush River MM, South Carolina records as 1771. (C-556) He is probably the Thomas Coppock who was in the 1800 Newberry Co. Census records at age 26-45 with wife between 16-26. They had two daughters une ten. In his will written in 1826, he named wife, Elizabeth, son Joseph, d. Sarah and all his other daughters. His executor was Samuel Coate. His witnesses were Zadock Reagen, Jesse Coppock, and Jesse Jones. (C-931, 2247E)
