  It is conjecture, but this Gabriel is the right age to be a brother to James Jr. McCool and the son of James Adams and Ann Wright McCool. Also, James Jr. named a son Gabriel, likely after his brother. According to "The Annals of Newbere was a highly conscientious and good man. (C-236) This Gabriel was disowned on 4/24/1773 for marrying his first cousin.
