  John was married four times to Margaret Thwaites, Margaret Hastings, Elizabeth Reade, and Anne York. He held the title, Lord of Studley and Hutton Conyers. It is unknown as to which child belonged to which mother, and his children mightnclude Joan, William or Peter. Peter isn't listed in Mary Reumah Mallory's work, and Joan and William might be the sons of Sampson instead. (Sir John's mother was Margret, either Margret Twaytes or Margret Hastings.
