  He emmigrated in 1890 and his wife in 1893. He stated that he migrated from Austria and arrived at Philadelphia on or about the 2nd day of December, 1893. (McKean Co., PA Alien Dockets, pg. 253, D-94.) It is unlikely that his surns spelled as Wojcik by himself as that spelling appears to almost always be someone from Poland. He supposedly is in the 1900 census for Johnsonburg, PA under the name of John Wolfe. I have not been able to find he or his family in any of the census records. He was born in 1872 according to the Andersons. The Vovcsik's did have a son named Janos in 1869 according to their census records. If he died young and they renamed a second son Janos then he could have been born in 1872. I'm taking the simplest explanation though that he was the Janos who was born in 1869.
