  • Notes
    • There is a very interesting passenger list for Ellis Island, where a Maria Dudik, age 7 of Hungary likely traveling with Julia Volcsik, (listed directly after her), age 22, married with the ethnicity of "USA", who arrived on the ship Havm Bremen, Germany on Nov. 27, 1896. If this is this Julia... she was likely married in the United States and traveled to the "Old Country" to meet her husband's family and bring back her niece of age 7, Mary and Joseph Dudick's daughter. These two names traveling together seems more than coincidental, and I have estimated Julia's birth date from this record. Other records will confirm if she is that age. (D-199)
