  Geoffrey would be an ancestor of Ann Pole who later married Marmaduke Coate, though his descedants were not written down in legal documents due to the fact that they had a greater claim to the thrown of England than the current persons holhat title and their lives were in jeopardy. Therefore, the descent from Geoffrey is theory and is currently best presented in Pat Moran's book, "Moran Exodus from Offaly", p. 516-517. If Pat Moran's birthdate calculation for Geoffrey is correct, he would have been born shortly after his father's death.
