• Notes

  Reedsville, OH She is the Alice who signed her brother-in-law, Otis's autograph book dated 1890. She went by her middle name in the 1880 census records also. Alice's grandson, Raleigh, said there was controversy about whether or not she was a Congrove genetically. Her birth record is listed in a Chaney bible in the possession of Jim Hetzer. Last seen it was falling apart. Raleigh did not even know if she was raised by the Congroves who are currently attributed as her parents.
