  This male could be John H. Glenn who married Jane Dupre on 1/1/1839 in Gallia Co., Ohio. He purchased 79.28 acres on Nov 22, 1847 in Twn. 7, range 16, section 19; 39.37 acres on twn. 7, range 16, section 20 on Nov. 20, 1847; and 156.8s on Nov 22, 1847 in Twn. 7, range 16 and section 20. All other land purchases apply to these Glenn brothers, and only this John H. is unaccounted for in the partial lists I've found for the names of James William Glenn's children. He is the right age to be the unknown male born before 1820 according to census records. Some of his land is also adjacent to George Glenn which could mean that he's the son of George Glenn instead.
