  If he is the Alexander Coharan who wrote the following will, then he did not die in 1731. Will of Alexander Coharan/Cohaun, Orange Co., NC 28 Oct 1775 pg. 199 which shows up on pg 106 in the will book that starts with an index. Wife Easter Son John Son Jaems Coharan b. aft. 1751 (not ours) Alexander Coharan Samuel Coharan Wife is with child. There are other families that claim him as theirs.
