  His name was spelled Comidore Nutter in the 1910 census where he was just shy of 14 years of age when the census was taken in April of that year. Commodore enlisted in World War I when he was 21. He stated his birthplace was Hun. (Huntington?), West Virginia. He was married but his wife was not named. He was listed as tall with brown eyes and black hair. He was a farmer living in Altizer, West Virginia on June 5, 1917 in Calhoun Co., West Virginia. When he was 58, he died after falling from a tractor.
