• Notes

  Neither Edith or a husband were mentioned in the 1783 Indenture where Barzilla paid all of his other sisters and their spouses for land he'd received from his father through his brothers' demise. That suggests to me that she and her possiusband had probably died before 1783. One internet source however gives her death date as after 1800 with no spouse listed. Some sources like Comley's book list her spouse as Michael Newbold. However, in most sources Michael is listed with other spouses besides an Edith.
