The are Munster, Leinster, Connacht, Ulster, the Britons, Picts, Saxons, and Morini of Gaul. The center of hs government was at Tara. There is a legend that on one of his ventures into Gaul, he captured a young boy. The boy eventually escaped, but returned to Ireland as St. Patrick.
