Notes - His daughter's birth is transferred from the monthly meeting records from the Kingsbury Episcopi M.M. to the Southern Division of the Somerset Quarterly Meeting and recorded right in the middle of the listing for John and Elizabeth's (Humphrie) Coate's children's birth records again supporting Elizabeth's Coate's maiden name as Humphries. As a Quaker, he would have been at least 18 when he married so he was born before 1651. His christening took place in the church of England. His possible sister, his daughter or his wife died in 1689 with her death being recorded in Quaker records. He likely died at the young age of 28 in 1678 in Kingsbury Episcopi. All other records on this page were for children and it listed their father's. He was not listed as the son of anyone. It appears he was buried in "Wollen" and the church was informed of his burial.
