• Notes

  In the 1880 Philadelpia City listings there is a Harry F. Rauch who was a clerk at 332 S. Water, and his home was at 2130 Steward. This is likely to be our Harry Rauch. Some family members thought Harry was a Civil War Veteran from Cicut. If his birth date of 1853 was correct in the census records it is unlikely that this particular tradition is correct as the war ended in 1864. He was listed at age 17 in the 1870 census which was taken in November of that year.
