  He is an appropriate age to have purchased 305 acres of land from Henry McCulloh's 100,000 acres in Cain Creek, NC on 30 May, 1763. This is only a theory on my part. It could also easily fit one of his sons, nephews or cousins for that matter also. H & A Underwood purchased 333 acres on the same day in the same tract of land.
