- He and his wives had at least 8 children. Several married into Glenn, Curry and Young families.

There was no term for minor at that time. George Glenn, one of his executors, was the father-in-law of Robert's daughter, Margaret and son Robert's wife, Sarah Glenn. He was also a peer of Robert Young and likely trusted friend. (CL-468) The original is in Will Book VIII, p. 54, Augusta Co., VA.
Robert's estate appraisement is listed on Page 63 in Chalkley, Vol 3.--Robert Young's appraisement by John Dennison, James Young, Jno. Laur. July 1793.
The following info is from Sharon Young Jebavy. "Robert Young, d. April 1793, Augusta Co., VA, m. twice (there are deeds by him with two different wives given names, m. 2nd @ 1780)Children: Robert m. The following records from Chalkley probably applies to this Robert.*1759, page 36, Robert Young, son of John is delineated this way in the Merchants records.* D(eed) B(ook) 12, pg. 222, 1765 Robert and Jean Young.* DB 11, pg 256, Robert Patterson to Robert Young.*Page 420.--15th October, 1765. This record fits here perfectly except for the fact that Elizabeth is not listed in Robert's will. I suggest this is because he named all the children in his will by his first wife in his will, and felt that his 2nd wife would care properly for their daughter Elizabeth in her own will.
