  There is a possibility that this unknown Dimmock also had a son named Joseph, b. abt 1776 in Halesowen, Staffordshire, England whom married Mary Stephens and had many children in Worcestershire, England. Joseph died in 1845 in Mushroom,tershire Green, Worcestershire, England. Joseph's parents were Joseph and Prudence Heathcock Dimmock. Joseph Sr. was born in Dudley, Worcestershire, England making this a likely relative. I also have 2 DNA cousin matches that go through him according to Gedmatch in Jan. of 2018. This info is from a My Heritage record citing census info. My theory is that the Joseph married to Prudence had several sons. His son John died as an infant. His son Benjamin is the only son of the correct age to be this unknown Dimmack, father of my John Dimmack. Benjamin was born in 1756 in Dudley, Worcestershire, England. This line of Dimmocks is traced back to William Dimmock who would have been born before 1611 of Bishampton, Worcestershire, England.
