• Notes

  Samuel stayed in the Nansemond, VA area where he owned about 2000 acres in Suffolk Parish. They had one son who became a doctor. Tradition states that he helped build Old Gleeb Church where his family had a pew. He built his home about 1730 which burned down in 1936.
