He is likely the W.C. Glenn owning land in Huntington Twp. Gallia Co., Ohio just west of his father A.Y. Glenn in the 1874 Gallia Co., Ohio atlas, in Twp. 7, Range 16, section 26. He is also likely to be the Curry Glenn who along with his father, Andrew, and Uncle James and cousin Milton were operators on the Underground Railroad.

Notes:

He was 94 years old when he died according to his son, Roy Steele Glenn. However, this calculated birth date of 1842 doesn't correspond with the birth date I found for Samuel's father, William Curry Glenn in 1831 making his father only age 11 when he was born. It's more likely that the estitmated age of Samuel is incorrect here.
