Notes:

Mary was the sister to Madison Starke Perry, the 4th Governor of Florida. (C-1948) She died before the census was taken in 1800 and therefore at the most only 2 of the daughters attributed to her and no sons at all were actually hers. The problem is that at this point, we don't know which 2.

Mary married Sion COATS before 1800. Sion (son of Joseph COATS and Elizabeth Ann MARR) was born in 1756 in , , VA; died on 11 Nov 1830 in Camden, Kershaw, SC. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

Sarah is not listed by name in her father's will as it is believed that she died before he made his will. James Fort in his extensive research on this family, however, concludes that she was his daughter also.

Sarah married James LEWIS on 22 Jun 1809 in , , SC, USA. James (son of Benjamin LEWIS and Sarah GREEN) was born on 10 Dec 1781 in , Georgetown District (Now Marion), SC; died in 1842 in , Tuscaloosa, AL. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

She is not listed by a married name when listed in her father's will in 1830. However, we know that she and her sister Sarah were both married before 1822 when the estate of their aunt was in equity court in Lancaster.
