    So far the only christening record I've found that might be a match to this Sibell is Sibella Bowier, Christened 13 JUL 1585 at Dilwyn, Hereford, England. She was the daughter of Henrici Bowier.

    Richard was raised by his grandfather after his father died in 1617. His residence in Mobberly Parish is still labeled Yarwood House on the map. He appeared in the local records when his travel expenses were noted in his position of looking after sequestered lands in various local towns of the parson of Mobberley in the 1650's as requested by the Parliament. His home was one of a few where Quaker meetings were held. He was buried in Mobberley on Jun 1? 1663. (C-2272)

In the World Family Tree at ancestry.com, Don Coffin gives his death date as 20 Dec. 1718 in Springfield, Delaware Co., Pennsylvania Jonathan arrived in Philadelphia on a Quaker certificate dated Oct. 27, 1708 to marry Jane Owen. He was received from Chester MM, PA on 28th 11 mo. 1708. Jonathan had daughters, Sarah, Rachel and Hannah , born in what is now Delaware Co., PA before his death.     Notes:

    This Bartholomew has a birth date of Oct. 1, 1681 in Elizabeth Harris' E-mail letter dated 9/8/95. (C-613) According to a second descendant, Rodger Smith, Bartholomew and Jacob Jonathan were twins. He was given the family bible and the journal of George Fox, the famous Quaker leader, in his father's will. Bartholomew owned land adjacent to his father's land in Springfield, Chester Co., PA in a deed dated Oct 13, 1709. (C-2136)

    He and his wife Phebe deeded 373 acres to Henry Lewis in Marple, Chester Co., PA on Dec 26, 1711. This land formally belonged to Jonathan Taylor, deceased, which might give a clue to a possible first marriage for Phebe as her known name included Taylor. (C-2139)

    He is supposedly listed in "Smith's Atlas of Early Grants" which shows his residence as Marple, Chester Co, PA in 1715. He is also listed "of Marple Twp." when his daughter Rebecca marries in 1744. He witnessed a will of William West of Springfield in Chester Co., PA in Feb of 1720. (C-2150)
