Notes:

He came to Virginia before 1660 where he patented land in New Kent Co. It later was known as King and Queen Co. and is now King William Co., VA. He was named in his Uncle Philips will in 1661 where he was bequeathed Philip's plantations in VA. He was also named in his father's will probated in 1671. He was justice New Kent Co. in 1680 for King and Queen Co., VA in 1693. He also held the title of Captain in this record. By 1704 he was a Justice for King William Co. He or his son William had a will probated on Feb. 15, 1720. We do now know from DNA evidence that this Roger is not related to the Peter Mallory b. about 1623 of New Haven, CT meaning that this Mallory lineage absolutely has flaws in it which I will be re-researching as of 8/2008.
