• Notes

  This is Orval Calhoun's direct ancestor. He wrote the book "800 Years of Coquhoun." Alexander is listed as the 2nd son of the elder Rev. Alexander Colhoun in a will dated 1756 by his apparent eldest son, William. William named the 2nd son of his father as James and the 3rd son as Alexander. I also saw today a story summarizing his marriage record to Margaret where is was listed as the last son of Rev. Alexander. I thought I saved it to him, but now I can't find it. It is vital because between these two documents, we now know he only had 3 sons, only 2 of which could have had children. They also verify his death date took place abt. 1772.
