FHL 0,832,476 - West Virginia, Marion County, Deeds, vol. 1, page 430, 431 - Deed dated 13 May 1844 between Thomas Holbert and Mary, his wife of one part and Thomas J Holbert of second part, all of Marion Co, VA in consideration of $400 for 8/10 shares of land on waters of Booths Creek containing 103 acres, known by name of the Hiram Cooper tracte being same which Hiram resided when dec died, which was conveyd to Cooper by Abrham Hill, and six shares of said tract was conveyed to William Shaver by six of heirs at law of said Hiram Cooper and conveyed by said Shaver to said Thomas Holbert and two other shares was conveyed to sadi Thomas Holbert by two other heirs at law of said Cooper making eight shers of said land. Signed by Thomas Holbert and her mark, Mary Holbert. Recorded 13 May 1844.
